My career as a Paralegal is much more than gathering paperwork and drafting documents. It’s about discovering the small details, fully supporting the firm as a dependable employee, and working with attorneys and peers to improve upon existing processes. It’s also about the fulfillment one gets by knowing that you were apart of the bigger picture, which is successfully getting your client to the finish line of their case. I am an agile thinker. I find that my attention to detail has helped bolster my ability to gather necessary information, organize summaries and documents, and effectively support the firm in coordinating legal action. I can also adapt quickly to new situations and perform well under pressure. I enjoy successfully working independently, as well as collaboratively with my team. I am fiercely loyal to my family and friends. People can depend on me to cheer them on and offer sincere support. This is also demonstrated in my career throughout my time as a Paralegal. True collaboration is important to me and I will do what I can to support attorneys and clients by effectively fulfilling administrative and Paralegal tasks.I believe that taking initiative to foster change yields progress and growth. A distinct role I fulfilled was as Paralegal Liaison, in which I met with the firm’s Paralegals, summarized findings and notes, and then met with attorneys and executives to convey Paralegal ideas and concerns. This resulted in improved relationships and processes.Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family—whether we are playing catch or taking a trip with our new travel trailer. I also like getting involved in fun crafts and projects.
