After 15 years in clinical research, I continue to be amazed with technology, science and the progress that comes when great minds get together. My career started as a study coordinator, providing a solid foundation and understanding of PI and site tasks. My time as a clinical research associate with both CRO's and Sponsor gives me a unique and well rounded perspective. Monitoring is absolutely where my passion lives, a great CRA is hard to find!My current role is Director of Clinical Monitoring; I have the responsibility of ensuring delivery of quality data to sponsors while meeting appropriate expectations and timelines. I interview, hire, train, plan, allocate resources, support and present proposal activities. I contribute to continual process improvement, identify risks and develop mitigation plans. I serve as the escalation point and support for the monitoring team. I have a proven track record in development and execution of trial management systems and leading organizational changes. Starting my clinical research career as a study coordinator provided a solid foundation and empathy for tasks PI’s and sites complete. My time as a clinical research associate with both CRO and Sponsor gives me a unique and well rounded perspective.
