- Perform accessioning, extraction, library preparation, sequencing preparation, loading of genomic material, and secondary analysis for Illumina and Oxford Nanopore NGS platforms- Develop and optimize genomics pipeline for the purposes of Stanford's Microbiome Therapies Initiative (MITI)- Collaborate with MITI affiliates and partners on their metagenomic needs for projects related to both the skin and gut microbime, as well as their relationships with the immune system- Build out an FDA- and GMP-compliant genomic quality control pipeline for MITI's drug development operations and manufacturing- Maintain genomic laboratory space, inventory, and machinery

- Performed incoming quality control of gDNA, library preparation, and pooling of whole genome libraries for sequencing- Processed high-volume, quick turnaround whole genome sequencing data using liquid handlers (Hamilton, Agilent Bravo, SPT LabTech)- Tracked sequencing runs and managed data using LIMS- Performed regular maintenance on robotic liquid handlers

- Participated in laboratory support work as required by the team’s needs and at the direction of laboratory management- Lead the general upkeep, orderliness, and cleanliness of the laboratory- Followed the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling, receipt, organization, management and data entry into LIMS
