Global Quality Systems Engineer with 18 years’ Boston Scientific experience. I am currently working in Post Market Quality Assurance as a Quality Technician II. My role includes compiling robust investigations on returned or non-returned devices by analyzing and testing in a bio-hazard laboratory, carrying out risk reviews, product history reviews, shipping reviews and label reviews as well as comparing with similar complaints. I carry out Triage work on complaints as they are opening and identify trends as they occur. The Diploma in Science & Technology Studies has given me the skills to carry out improvement projects in our department, updating current procedures and introducing new documents for a monthly laboratory audit and the storage and management of chemicals and equipment.Areas of production expertise include DES & PCT. I worked in polymer balloons for 9 years. I have filled numerous roles from designated trainer to CML operator to line operator. Completing a Higher Diploma in Operational Excellence provided numerous opportunities to improve the process and layout and to help my team be more efficient. In doing so I have discovered new tooling and altered tasks to make mine and my colleagues’ day to day tasks easier while also improving the quality and efficiency of the work.
