While attending Lake Washington Institute of Technology for general credits, I wasn't sure where I wanted to go to further my academics and career. I found myself falling in love with the first psychology class I took, and my adviser recommended that I try out the Social and Human Services program they had to offer. It turned out to be a great fit for me teaching me about who I want to be as a person, and as a professional. I graduated with thriving scores and a deans list letter for four reoccurring quarters, and transferred to a two year Bachelor's program in Applied Behavioral Science at Seattle Central College. I am employed as a rehab specialist and administrative assistant for a company that does care management for individuals with varying disabilities. When I'm not at school or work I enjoy music, hiking, crafting, and spending time with friends and my cat, his name is Tiger. Regarding future goals, I'd like to have a Master's degree in therapy or counseling, but in the meantime I'm enjoying the ebb and flow that my current work and education offers.
