I worked on the research of Dr. Matthew Pranter working with Petrel in the Reservoir Characterization Laboratory. I worked on creating and correlating well sections based on well bore data, as well as worked with the multi-point geostatistical analysis capabilities of Petrel, exploring how training image scanner size parameters affect output. This testing was applied to the Red Wash Field in the Uinta Basin in Utah exploring sandstone connectivity to wells with varied well spacing.

Greater Denver Area

Full-time geosciences intern working with both Petra and SMT Kingdom software to correlate, interpret, and map the top of the Chinle formation within the Greater Aneth Field, Paradox Basin, southeastern Utah. Used Petra to define the Chinle formation top by correlating well logs, creating and quality checking a structure map, and integrating the well-picked depth Chinle surface in Petra to the 3D seismic depth surface created in Kingdom.
