My duties included working closely with the events and PR manager. I researched various promotional event locations throughout Texas and Nebraska. I worked closely with the youth rodeo team by planning events for them at the different rodeos they participated in over the summer. I booked travel and stay for different guest speakers for the various events Cavender’s hosted throughout the summer. I attended photo shoots and worked with the digital marketing team to rearrange and update the clothing on the website. Some of the events I coordinated and planned was the Youth Rodeo Team Summit, the Texas FFA Convention, store reopening’s, and different lunches or dinners for the youth rodeo team at their rodeos.

My duties included but were not limited to working with engineering staff at CW Engineering. Tasks included filing papers, preparing engineering reports, monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable, assisting in entering information in QuickBooks, general office administrations tasks, and typing reports in Word and Excel.

My duties included various duties in running the establishment such as opening the shop during the mornings for breakfast, overseeing the sales throughout the day, preparing food and serving our customers, and helping train new staff with how to prepare the food for the customers. At the end of each day, I was also responsible for cleaning up the shop by sweeping, moping, wiping down the counters and making sure everything was clean and stocked for the next morning. Also, after closing I was responsible for counting the money and preparing the daily deposits and financial information for deposits.
