About Ashlyn Clark

Recent UNC Chapel Hill alum with a B.A. of Medical Anthropology & Public Policy. I am passionate about the intersection of public health and the environment, particularly regarding international development and advocacy. I continue to strive to connect my appreciation of anthropology, public service, and the environment within my professional portfolio. My experiences include contributing to county-level COVID-19 prevention and corresponding vaccination campaigns; spearheading groundwater PFAS research; analyzing the complex dynamics of psychopharmaceuticals in the US Army; examining wetland degradation in coastal North Carolina; and assisting with the development of WASH facilities. My desire to contribute to the alleviation of various social determinants of health lead me to my current role within the Global Operations Team at Evidence Action, whose mission is to lessen the burden of poverty through cost-effective and evidence-based programs.
