• Preparing an Enhanced Due Diligence report for high-risk customers that poses higher money laundering or terrorist financing risks present increased exposure to bank• Extensive knowledge of secondary research pertaining to financial crime.• Assisted in special Reputational Risk projects that are conducted to ascertain if a particular report or media sweep has any reputational risk to the bank. Analysis includes search for adverse media sweep, checking for existing relationship and conducting transaction / look back analysis of the account in case of existing banking relationship.• Performed Reputational Risk analysis sanctions research and Special Projects for the Group FC to address any issues that impact the bank and escalate accordingly.• On a daily basis activity performed thorough monitoring review on the latest news triggered in a third party vendor and identified the alleged names against bank's internal systems.• Escalate the alleged parties operating status with the bank to the stakeholders.• Liaising with the internal Transaction Surveillance Unit and Customer Screening Unit during data request.• Assisted in adding blacklisted names to group internal watchlist as the bank does not wish to have any banking relationship for better compliances.• Handled various alert queries (alerts generated by Watch Lists) that are raised by different users at various bank locations and reply in a prompt and broader fashion with sufficient information to support them in taking the best decision with respect to closing of the alert.• Assisted in performing Media Intelligence to identify serious adverse news related to Money laundering, Terrorist Financing, Terrorism, Corruption, Insider Trading, Politically exposed persons, Sanctioned entities and share with stakeholders.
