Sr. Network Security Engineer
Current Network Design and maintenance include Support in the day to day operation including intrusion detection systems, Firewalls, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, web-security/proxy, email security, FireEye, ACI etc. Implement and abide by the approved Information Security process, policies and procedures which are attuned with standards and industry best practices Serve as a subject matter expert in coordinating and troubleshooting with customers, other infrastructure support activities and business units. Handling Network securities operations & projects. Hand on implementation & managing CISCO ASA, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper and SonicWall firewall. Implementation and managing Bluecoat proxy, Cisco WSA proxy & Cisco ESA (email security appliance). Hands on implementation & managing Cisco Firepower IPS and ASA Sourcefire. Implementation of FireEye NX appliance Managing Cisco ACI, Cisco Switches & Routers. Analyzes, troubleshoots, network and security problems on a 24x 7x 365 basis either remotely and/or on-site. Maximizes network performance by monitoring, troubleshooting issues and outages, collaborating with other IT teams for scheduled upgrades for network optimization Participate in technical risk assessments and security exposure analyses of systems, networks and business applications. Develop test plans and implement rigorous testing prior to rollout of new systems into the production environment. Establish network security baseline configurations and continuously Audit existing configurations to ensure they are in line with current best practices Recommends, installs and maintains security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, addressing threats and escalating issues to appropriate teams. Recommends, installs and maintains security antivirus, web filtering, Email SPAM and content control hardware and software on premise and in the cloud.
