About Ashonte Franklin, Phr

Welcome to my page! The first thing you should know is I’m so much more than what you can read on a profile or resume! I’m certainly not your average Human Resources Specialist. Of course I provide clear action plans outlining how to drive sustainable change and growth across the organization when it comes to employee relations. Of course I have a proven track record of increasing retention rates, hiring diverse talent, and streamlining resources. But I also have a passion for building and maintaining team morale, encouraging passion and creativity in others, and increasing emotional intelligence awareness. I’m a project manager, community builder, and a team leader (and an excellent party planner, from what I’ve been told). My background, while extensive, isn’t traditional. My passion for developing others is coupled with a love for big-picture planning and daily operational management. As a veteran Coast Guard officer, I’ve been trained to be a highly efficient multi-tasker and jack of all trades. I’m anything but one-dimensional. With 10+ years supporting HR functions and DEI efforts in the U.S. Coast Guard, I bring a variety of skills including:Project ManagementResource PlanningPolicy DevelopmentLeadership TrainingRecruiting and RetentionProcess ImprovementEmployee RelationsCreative Problem SolvingYou can email me at ashonte.franklin@yahoo.com or give me a call to learn more about my human resources & DEI experiences. I'm currently located in the Jacksonville, FL area. I'm happy to connect and learn more about your organization and employee initiatives!#opentowork #o2o #opentoopportunities
