Serving this 185 year old predominantly African-American congregation located in the downtown area of Rockville, Md. Leading the church into the digital age to reach more persons to enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Ministry goals include continued building of our spiritual lives so that we may be a blessing to others in our local area also. We continue our feeding ministry monthly and during Thanksgiving (turkey giveaway and potato drop) to extend the reach to the larger area. Leading 45 in worship (more reach since COVID-19) in weekly worship and preached word. I am creating content (videos, advertisements and graphics) from the services, spoken word and event highlights for posting on social media (Facebook, YouTube and Instagram) and relaunched our church website in June 2020 with laity. Leading weekly Bible studies and mentoring others to serve as pastoral care partners to members.

Serves as Program Manager for fleet support documentation and relevant support equipment. Manages operational issues that requires immediate response. Expertise in systems engineering, program management, and process improvement.

Served the members of Cherry Hill UMC through preaching, teaching, and served the Cherry Hill community. With the establishment of a weekly soup kitchen, we provided meals to over 80 people each week. Led and guided 85 people in weekly worship and preached word. Led weekly bible study with creative influences of illustrations and other techniques to involve the participants. Provided pastoral care to members.

Upper Marlboro, Md

Served as Youth and Young Adult Pastor to twenty youth and fifteen young adults. Provided spiritual guidance, activities, Vacation Bible school, lock-ins, bowling outings and Youth retreats to ensure a well-rounded experience at Westphalia. Worked with other youth ministries to provide unity amongst other UM youth ministries.
