Owner, Project Oblivion Transcendence – 2016-2018: A friend had designed and built his own audio and stereo product so I joined his company after high school. We sold refurbished electronics to try to fund the costs of our design projects.Intern, Hob House – 2017: Short term, not for credit internship with a luxury bed and breakfast just outside of Nairobi, Kenya. Got my first real taste of the hospitality industry, which I later explored further during a for credit internship with Marriott Vacation Club in 2022. Owner, Arcs Apparel – 2013-2016: I started a t-shirt business at the end of 10th grade that sold sound activated light up t-shirts (still have loads in storage if you want one). Recruited my friends and classmates to be sales reps, graphic design artists, and website design/tech support to help with my business. My math teacher (shout out to Mr. Cohen) really encouraged and supported me in starting the business, even being my business partner for the first year and a half until I became confident in my abilities.
