As a legislative research intern in the office of Shri Sujeet Kumar, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, I had the opportunity to delve into various aspects of policy analysis, legislative drafting, and constituent services. My key responsibilities included:• Conducting in-depth research on legislative issues, policies, and current affairs to support parliamentary debates and interventions.• Drafting policy briefs, reports, and speeches to aid in the formulation of informed legislative strategies.• Assisting in the preparation and analysis of bills, motions, and parliamentary questions.

Contributed to the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), PM Vishwakarma Yojana, and the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme.My responsibilities:• Facilitating stakeholder engagement: Actively engaged with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, training partners, and industry representatives, to ensure alignment with the objectives of the policies.• Data analysis and reporting: Conducted comprehensive data analysis to derive insights on skill development programs' effectiveness, providing valuable inputs for strategic decision-making.• Program implementation oversight: Contribute to the successful implementation of PMKVY, PM Vishwakarma Yojana and NAPS policies by monitoring and evaluating key milestones, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions for efficient execution.• Impact assessment: Contributed to assessing the impact of skill development programs, gauging their effectiveness in addressing workforce needs.• Identified areas for enhancement in the implementation process, suggesting innovative solutions and participating in discussions to refine strategies for better outcomes in skill development.

Worked under the guidance of Shri Man Singh Yadav, MLC of the Samajwadi Party. My responsibilities included conducting research on various policy issues, drafting briefing papers, and attending committee meetings. I also had the opportunity to assist in constituent outreach and engagement, helping to address their concerns and communicate the legislator's stance on key issues.
