The Political Science Society at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Tuljapur is a vibrant academic platform dedicated to fostering political thought, discourse, and engagement. Our society brings together students passionate about political science, governance, policy-making, and international relations, providing them with opportunities to explore, debate, and contribute to the understanding of complex political issues. We aim to cultivate a community of young thinkers and leaders by organizing a range of activities, including guest lectures, debates, panel discussions, and academic forums. Through these, we encourage students to analyze contemporary political challenges, exchange diverse perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of governance, public policy, and international relations. Our mission is to create informed and engaged citizens who can think critically, act ethically, and contribute meaningfully to public life—whether through government, civil society, academia, or activism. As the first society of its kind on campus, we are setting a path for future generations of students to shape the world around them.
