The work analysis included facilitation of 22 individual interviews and 25 focus groups with subject matter experts and position holders for all work roles included in the project, totalling 131 participants. As a result of the detailed work analysis 41 job descriptions were produced outlining each work role’s purpose, key responsibilities, key relationships that need to be effectively managed, business environment factors, and reporting relationships. In addition to the job descriptions produced,a number of recommendations were presented to senior management for consideration to improve operational efficiencies, with regards to important factors impacting on areas of organisational effectiveness and outcomes. The recommendations were provided in response to a number of critical issues raised as part of the individual and focus group sessions, and were presented in terms of high, medium and low priority with action planning options provided. -
