During this period I architected and built the company's first automated email sending service, which would analyse the database on a set schedule to see which customers were overdue on their payment plan, by various severities, and then send out an appropriate email, based on the severity, to them.I also solely designed and built the FE for a new, totally autosaving, system for the company to use to work out the price of flights. Each input of a dynamic, multi-layer nested, form would have it's individual save state tracked against the server, all integrated nicely with Typescript so as to make adding new inputs as easy as possible.In addition I worked on introducing the first ever buy online system to Luxtripper, allowing customers to buy holidays via the website directly, without having to interact with a salesperson. During this period I helped to create the "Hotel Contract Editor & Searcher", known as HCS internally, which allows users to load in contracts that Luxtripper holds with hoteliers and then search through them, given various inputs, to have a ‘calculated stay’ generated for them. This stay would include the total cost, the room and rate that they would be on, and all perks available during that stay based on their room and rate. These stays are saved for future consumption, but can be converted into hotel line items for the itinerary builder and pasted in with a single click.I also designed and built a suite of new PDF generators for the company to use, which automatically generates things like travel documents and downloadable versions of quotes. These documents used the data from the quotes to generate dynamic pdfs, whose designs varied based on the inputted data.I also designed and built a new version of the front page, for use during sale periods, which included a 3-dimensional card which animated in, and constructed itself in an animated fashion, with each letter fading and floating in in a beautiful sequence.In addition I made many updates to the website, online quote, supporting quote editor, and custom CRM. I singlehandedly taught myself the software, and then was responsible for teaching others how to use it, or mentoring them as they worked on their jobs.My expertise in Sketchup allowed me to create programmable components, so that designers could simply drag and drop pre-built elements to use in their designs, which were 100% accurate to manufacturer specifications. This led to a dramatic reduction in mistakes and innaccuracies, which had plagued the business up until then. These programmable components also had the benefit of being interactive too, so clients could move around their renders in 3-dimensional space and interact with the furniture they might be buying.I also designed and put live an e-commerce website from which customers could purchase various appliances.
