As a concurrent Law and MBA student, I have worked hard to maximize every opportunity that I have received to increase my knowledge and experience within the legal and financial fields. In addition to my course load, I am currently working as the Policy Extern for the Mississippi Attorney General Office, doing legal research through Westlaw and Lexis databases. During my audit and assurance internship with Deloitte, I was fortunate enough to gain real-world experience in testing and reviewing of financial statements and the inter-company financial control procedures on a Fortune 200 client from the beginning to the end of their annual Form 10-K filing. I have worked in many leadership positions throughout my undergraduate career as President (2023) and VP of Recruitment (2022) of the Interfraternity Council and Treasurer of the Accounting Student Body (2023-2024) at the University of Mississippi. In these positions, I stayed in continuous communication with University administrators, students, and the Oxford community, while organizing campus-wide events and representing the student body. These positions provided me with the opportunity to work with University faculty and other student leaders to carry out initiatives, directly manage 7-figure-dollar budgets, update governing bylaws and policies, as well as representing thousands of University of Mississippi students. At the same time, I graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors from the Patterson School of Accountancy earning my Bachelor in Accountancy in May 2024. I simultaneously commissioned as an officer in the Army National Guard, receiving the Distinguished Military Graduate honor for ranking in the top 15% of all cadets across the United States.
