• Manage the Store Training Manager selection process by partnering with field leadership, interviewing the STM candidates and selecting the right person for the role. • Assess trainee and STM skills, strengths, gaps, and opportunities. Provide trainee and supervisors with timely and accurate performance feedback.• Creating and executing of development plans and evaluation of SMs and STMs for next level positions and leadership roles through partnership with field leadership.• Managing the Assistant Store Manager Development program through partnership with field leadership.• Monitor, report, and support execution for all field training programs including compliance and progress in their area of responsibility.• Actively participate in projects and other assignments as identified by HR leadership that result in timely and accurate data gathering/reporting.• Ensuring newly hired or internally placed Store Managers are set up for success and partner with field leadership and Sr. HRM to assist with SM retention.• Operate within multiple training environments. • Proactively identify, plan, and facilitate training and development opportunities.

• Responsible for sourcing and interviewing quality internal and external candidates for Store Manager positions to be presented to District Managers for final selection.• Supports field management throughout the hiring and on-boarding process related to training, talent selection, pre-employment screening, and store assignments.• Builds relationships with local chambers of commerce, colleges, universities, and other local organizations to source quality candidates.• Monitors and reports weekly progress on staffing needs, turnover, succession planning and other related issues.• Performs market visits with District Managers and Regional Directors to support staffing needs and organizes/conducts hiring events and staffing meetings as needed.• Drives Store Manager retention through training programs and other internal programs to ensure successful transitions for newly hired and promoted Store Managers.
