Collaborated and lived with students at Makerere University (Kampala, Uganda) to develop a low-cost suite of devices to enhance safety and efficiency in surgical drug administration. This 8-week program involved clinical interviews/observations, entirely locally-sourced materials, cross-cultural collaboration, regular clinician interaction, and a final poster presentation/demonstration. Our prototype was recently selected as a top-25 national semi-finalist for presentation at the 2024 Rice360 Global Health Technologies Conference

Analyzed correlation between Aerobic Fitness and Arterial Stiffness in Adolescent Boys and Girls. Conducted testing to obtain and analyze AIx75, SBP, cfPWV, VO2peak, VO2@VT1 with state-of-the-art non-invasive instrumentation at the Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences.
