Designed and implemented a message processing pipeline for Kafka based message consumption in the service. 3) Performance optimizations for key flows end-to-end on both React plugin, and Java backend services in QuickBooks accountant. This was a 10 week Summer Internship where the role aligned with the tasks to be accomplished by a Network Analyst. The responsibilities include :1) Developing algorithms for reports and creating BI dashboard using Business Intelligence tool, MicroStrategy for processes listed as part of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL). 2) Managing SharePoint 2010 website by working on SharePoint workflows and aggregating access control lists.The work on developing algorithms for ITIL process dashboarding, has provided a deep insight into the ITIL processes and the workflows therein.

This was a part-time role as a Graduate student and involved working for the development of a monitoring/administrative dashboard for public schools of North Carolina.The role involved working on the LAMP stack, developing using Moodle framework on PHP. Part of Sales Services Technology, involved in building applications for Sales management which help in reporting, analysis and decision making.This role was concentrated on developing :1) Trade to Cost matching application2) Revenue Adjustment tool 3) Reporting Dashboard4) Automatic Archival of SharePoint reports using NAS to reduce storage on the website.Furthermore, the role involved automating support tasks which involved higher response times in a normal release cycle. These newly automated processes brought down the turnaround times from 4 weeks to 24 hours thereby achieving higher throughput during times when the support requests were higher.A core part of the work involved working with Data warehouses and exploring ETL workflows which provided a greater insight into how the data warehouse was designed and the workflows helping understand various business processes.
