-Successfully attained approval of five different Dangerous Goods Tank Design Applications on behalf of BFP Engineering, two 12,000 litre Bitumen Sprayer on DAF and Volvo Truck Chassis, one 7,800 litre Bitumen Sprayer on UD Truck Chassis and two trailers 20,000 litre and 15,500 litre Dog and A-Trailer respectively. All applications are currently approved by The Department of Transport & Main Roads QLD. Report provides evidence of the correct material, method, procedure in manufacturing the final product. It reflects how the final product adheres to Australian Standards, Australian Design Rules (ADR) and Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG code). Various methods are used to prove, like basic engineering principles such as Strength of Material, thermodynamics, Engineering Design, Dynamics and Stress analysis. -One of the members in team of three people who were involved in adding new 7,800 liter capacity Bitumen Sprayer to the range. My responsibility was to convert crucial legacy AutoCAD drawings provided by truck manufacturers (UD Trucks) to 3D models to streamline production and meet current production standards. Calculated loads across the front and rear axle-ensuring manufacturer’s vehicle suspension limit and comply with axle mass limits. Ensuring tank center of gravity is within the recommended stability angle of vehicle. Generated Bill of Materials (BOM) and detailed drawings for mass-production. -Introduced a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, previously accounting software was used to run the production line. This ERP software has now replaced the accounting software and runs the production line more efficiently. A new part-numbering system is used which helps to identify the location and stage of the product on the production line.
