-- As a Software Development Engineer in Amazon Pay , worked on multiple launches in Amazon Pay subscriptions domain specifically Merchant Experience and Trust domains.-- Managed end-end launch of a new feature - Multi-Currency Payments in Amazon Pay Subscriptions which enabled Amazon Pay merchants to charge a customer in customer-preferred currency rather than default Country currency. Expected 2MM TPV. Identified best practices in API request/response encryption, critical data transfer between internal systems and raised 12 threats based on Amazon security standards. Raised the security bar for the team by insisting on latest tools in Amazon for handling data at transit/rest and also reference for future services-- Designed high-level architecture and design for integrating Amazon Pay with third-party vendor APIs to perform website scans for fraud detection and Acceptable Use Policy(AUP) monitoring. Automated manual integration to event-driven automated solution using AWS services and reduced turn-around time from 72 hours to 6 hours for fraud detection.-- Mentored an intern during summer and helped him convert to a full-time offer. Helped with the task breakdown to implement a distributed caching solution for one service to reduce latency for priority APIs. Identified 3 milestones to deliver the feature on time and helped quick ramp-up by providing right-documentation and people.- Implemented Amazon Pay Query service integration to merge V2 transactions data with V1 data and display the results to the customer.
