I am Asia Mapp, Lead Liaison of ExcelChoice Education where we inspire children to be the best version of themselves through innovative solutions and parental support to create a world where opportunity meets learning. I'm a Sacramento native who discovered her passion for bridging the gap between parents and children academically after teaching in the classroom for 6 years. Alumni of Johnson C. Smith University, I received my Bachelor of Science in English in 2013, and have continued my education through courses in (reading with dyslexia and families in education to name a few, with the hopes of furthering my background in educating individuals in reading. After becoming a tutor I learned that no matter the demographic or how much money a parent makes, children missed the mark due to the parent's home-life balance or being left behind academically. I believe that building skills in children help them successfully navigate their learning struggles and helps parents communicate with their learners without the presence of frustration and stress. My mission is to inspire children to be the best version of themselves by bridging the gap between students, parents, and learning with innovative solutions and parental support.
