• Heading the projects department, created internal processes, aligned them with ESB processes as part of Project Company Implementation by Cummins.• Managing all aspects of gensets/power plant installation projects including requirement gathering, quotations, order management, design, civil, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, procurement, HSE works etc.• Managing communications with stakeholders, internal and external progress monitoring and reporting, coordination with O&M, Aftermarket, Finance, HR, HSE, Procurement and Management teams.• Responsible for project costing, budget preparations, monitoring actuals against budget, risk assessments, AOP preparations and reporting, payment terms negotiations, customer invoicing, variation claims, adjusting site works’ progress as per project payment schedule• Procurement management including sub-contractor selection, work award, aligning project design and budget, direct imported and local material procurement, monitor import terms, shipping, transportation, containerization, and handling of installation material.• Handling multiple parallel running projects, review daily progress reports, instruct course correction, managing scope changes, internal and customer review meetings.• Ensuring departmental compliance with company policies and local regulations.

• Worked in several northern Nigerian states within main towns and also at remote locations with responsibility of managing road construction projects including concrete works, heavy construction equipment maintenance and overall project timeline achievements.• Role included Construction quality control, production efficiency monitoring and control, budget preparation, customer invoicing, progress reporting, site meetings, customer relations• Independently led teams of civil, mech, elec engineers and technicians at remote locations where all workers stayed in life camps. Responsibility included general site administration, staff issues, conflict resolutions, pilferage control and general safety.
