In my role within BRAC's HR Strategy and Communication Unit, I've been instrumental in driving key initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. This includes leading HR annual planning, strategy development, and revamping processes to align with the organization's objectives and future trends. Notable contributions include the development of BRAC's Disability Inclusion Strategy in collaboration with stakeholders and Disability Inclusion Committee, as well as formulating a three-year HR strategy in line with organizational priorities. Additionally, I've played a pivotal role in reviewing and improving HR policies, initiating a remote work research collaboration with Harvard Business School, and facilitating the Annual Operating Plan discussions with senior leaders. Furthermore, I've directly collaborated with change management teams to redesign BRAC's Onboarding and Performance Management Systems, ensuring alignment with evolving organizational needs.

In my role within BRAC's HR Strategy and Communication Unit, I've been instrumental in driving significant initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and ensuring the well-being of vulnerable groups. This includes leading HR annual planning, strategy development, and safeguarding initiatives, pioneering the implementation of UK safeguarding principles in Bangladesh for the first time. I've played a key role in developing comprehensive safeguarding policies and strategies for BRAC and its international operations, covering 13 countries. Additionally, I've collaborated closely with senior leadership, including the Chief People Officer, to implement safeguarding measures and revamp existing policies such as Child Protection and Sexual Harassment Elimination to align with new standards and future requirements. Furthermore, I've led efforts to develop a safe recruitment policy and directly collaborated with change management teams to redesign BRAC's Onboarding and Performance Management Systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.

As a participant in BRAC's esteemed Young Professionals Programme, I underwent comprehensive leadership development training, laying the foundation for my future career growth. Over the course of the first year, I received extensive on-the-job training, including immersive classroom sessions and field visits, aimed at understanding the various programs, departments, and social enterprises within BRAC and the challenges they encounter. During this period, I had the opportunity to manage a microfinance branch for three months in a rural area, where I directly supervised branch staff, gaining valuable leadership and operational experience. In my final attachment, I served as a Human Resource Business Partner for BRAC's Humanitarian Programme, focusing primarily on operations in the Cox's Bazar Rohingya Camp. During this role, I developed and updated the staff database for Rohingya projects through on-site visits, streamlined the HR organogram by restructuring roles and responsibilities, and collaborated with senior management to ensure smooth HR services delivery within the Humanitarian Programme.
