CurrentContributed to the Nissan Meter Cluster Automotive App as an Lead Android developer while working closely with the engineering team. Developed a meter cluster application app leveraging Android architecture by integrating the Application layer (Kotlin) with the Framework layer (JNI) to simulate real-time data from vehicle sensors and interact with vehicle systems. Contributed to the framework layer by working with Android’s Binder IPC to establish communication between the Android framework and native services, ensuring real-time display of speedometer and engine data.Have led the team for Setting and Stored Warning feature. Utilized AIDL for inter-process communication to facilitate data transfer from the In-Vehicle Infotainment system to the Nissan Meter App. Developed python scripts to mock interactions with vehicle.Used parametrized test functions to test the application behaviour across various vehicle configurations.Developed parametrized fixtures in Pytest to simulate a variety ofvehicle states, such as speeds, engine and sensor malfunctions ensuring thorough coverage for driving scenarioshardware through APIs. ensuring real-time sensor data updates. Maintained regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and ensuring alignment with requirements.Achieved comprehensive test coverage for critical business logic, ensuring robust and reliable performance.Implemented continuous integration pipelines to automate testing and uphold code quality standards.Conducted UI automation testing using Espresso and performed thorough code reviews to maintain high standards. Coordinated with QA teams to ensure robust testing processes were in place, including automation testing using Espresso, leading to a significant reduction in post-launch defects. Automated Jira tasks using Python scripts, working with XML and CSV files to streamline workflows
