TxDOT Construction Division

Administer funding to general aviation facilities in Texas for routine maintenance. Serve as a functional and technical system administrator for contract and grant management system. Provide technical and functional support to governmental and private sector entities via email and phone. Support includes RAMP, construction and design contracts, payments and internal user processes as necessary. Support also includes updating user guides, manuals and training new external users.

Supervise staff of five in training, preparation, execution and maintenance of federal and state funded professional service agreements, construction contracts, supplemental agreements and change ordersEnsure quality and compliance standards are met during pre and post award contracting activities Interpret and apply federal and state statutes to resolve escalated and unique issues during contracting and procurement processModify existing contract templates for design build and construction manager at risk projects to ensure they contain appropriate federal and state contract language.Administer federal reimbursement billing and report quarterly and fiscal year end cash draw downs to Federal Aviation Administration Monitor, track, and obligate division's federal funding including $17Million in Recovery Act and $70 Million in federal receipts Coordinate and assemble appropriate documents for state and federal audits.
