“She believed she could so she did.” Currently a Luther College student working as a Career Peer Advisor in our Career Center. The role consists of helping peers to review their resumes and cover letters, as well as helping to conduct mock interviews. Job requires a lot of technological knowledge and a friendly personality as well. Is a part of the Nordic Choir, a music performance major, and takes voice and piano lessons. Is a member of the Intersectional Feminist Club and Tau Delta Gamma, both student led organizations on campus. Is the Vice President for Luther's Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, which sponsors a spring break service trip every year. Clifton Strengths are Woo, Achiever, Communication, Input and Learner. Works at maurice’s and Panera Bread for part time jobs over the summer when home from college. Has learned how to provide excellent customer service as well as how to collaborate with others in the world of retail. These jobs have also encouraged flexibility in terms of scheduling and cultivating new relationships through meeting new customers and coworkers. The biggest accomplishment thus far was being able to perform at Carnegie Hall in a select all-women’s choir as well as earning a flute solo as well. Is very organized and self-sufficient, in addition to having a positive and effective work ethic. Values personal relationships, drive, and deep, meaningful conversations. Interested in solving inequality in the workplace and learning how to acquire more technological skills. Others would describe as kind, hardworking, strong, and organized. Also interested in equality worldwide, combating climate change, diving deeper into diverse composers and music, as well as learning more about other cultures.
