Coordinated Polio operations at national level which included cVDPV2 outbreak response, surveillance, high risk populations and humanitarian access. I worked closely with the Ministry of Health, Health Cluster partners, WHE and EPI and supported integration. I acted Polio Team leader (P5) for 12 months and supported the COVID-19 response as one of the key members of theIncident management team for COVID-19 response. During this period, I coordinated three scientific studies – Covid-19 Community Verbal Autopsy, Study the vulnerability of health workers to COVID-19 infection in relation to adherence to IPC standards and COVID-19 Sero-survey (Unity studies) which I spearheaded the integration with Polio and VPD sero-survey.

Pakistan

1.Provided consultancy and technical support to Pakistan national PEI Program. Support was directed towards the goals of polio eradication, strengthening the EPI program, AFP Surveillance, Training and Staff Development.2.Developed training programs and curriculum to meet training needs of the Pakistan Polio Eradication Initiative.3.Focal person for Routine Immunization strengthening ,PEI-EPI synergy and Polio Legacy planning activities. 4.Deputy Coordinator - Risk assessment and Decision Support - Polio Eradication Initiative Pakistan.

Pakistan

Planning, Coordinating and Monitoring Project medical activities, as well as human and material related resources. Core Activity includes Maternal and child health. Achieved to conduct a baseline assessment of the impact of point-of-care Vaccination services in MSF Maternity ward and Newborn unit at the MSF project in KPK region of Pakistan

Mozambique

Planning, Coordinating and offering technical supports the project’s HIV and MDR-TB activities. Achieved to implement the first Point-of-care viral load monitoring in Mozambique. Led the analysis of the effectiveness of Community ART Adherence groups in urban settings for both adults and adolescents. Served as project referent and data analyst in monitoring and evaluating project’s medical activities as well as writing manuscripts for publication.

Dadaab, Garissa, Kenya

Coordinated and followed up all medical activities at field level including Secondary Hospital Care, Primary Health Care and Outreach .Executed and organized epidemiological surveillance to assess refugees’ nutritional needs and diseases outbreaks. Coordinated 3 Polio vaccination campaigns with collaboration with UNHCR. Collaborated with the MoH and UNHCR to Established an Early disease warning system for outbreaks in MSF structures. Served as the data analyst and reporter on medical activities and surveys.

Afghanistan

Opened and Established Neonatal activities in a new MSF new project in Khost Afghanistan. Successfully trained community female nurses on Newborn resuscitation, newborn care and prevention and treatment of neonatal complication. Established collaboration with the MoH to assess vaccines and managed to introduce Point-of care immunization of newborns in this project.

Sierra Leone

Responsible for the good quality medical care and follow-up of Neonates and Pediatric patients. Implemented and monitored the Early Detection of Lassa fever Patients admitted in MSF rural hospital in Sierra Leone.

Project Management and overseeing medical activities of a scientific study on Prenatal Exposure to HIV/Malaria Infection. Achieved to Supervise and coordinated the follow-up care of study mothers and infants .Contributed in data analysis and preparation of manuscripts for publication
