- The managing editor directly supervises the day-to-day operations of the publication, and reports to the editor in chief.- Working on the implementation of the editor directives relating to general editorial policy of the newspaper- Handle problems, keep the staff on schedule and answer questions from department editors. - coordinating the production schedule for the publication, coordinating with all the key positions (writers/reporters, photographers, graphic designers, layout producers) to hammer out dates for each stage of production- Oversee the editing various sections, to prepare some of the important aspect editorial material.- Review newspaper after its release to try to identify the deficiencies and develop plans for the development of the issues and the upcoming review of similar publications to learn aspects of excellence
