Director Of Communications
Current• Direct and execute the strategic communication plan, focusing on promoting and expanding the reach and impact of messaging• Serve as the principal staff advisor on all communication matters for the organization• Research and develop compelling story ideas and narratives representing the diverse nature of all CHSAA programming• Provide oversight of social media and the messaging being communicated via social media channels• Develop crisis communications plans and content, while working cross-functionally to deliver materials via appropriate mediums and channels• Assist the organization broadly with editing and quality control on all communications• Manage the CHSAA brand to ensure consistency and monitor risk• Assist with website management, specifically focused on content inclusion• Provide leadership in guiding the organization’s efforts to share our “story” to a wide-ranging and diverse membership and State-wide stakeholder community• Approve postseason radio/video streaming requests• Organize and supervise media relations at post-season events• Serve as the primary liaison to the NFHS Network• Provide strategic counsel and communications support to prepare senior leadership, the Board ofDirectors and committee members for media interviews and requests• Provide public relations crisis management support and lead the public response working as part ofthe leadership team• Facilitate the All-State Teams selection process• Assist in maintaining record books on CHSAANow
