-Completed first year-end amidst a worldwide pandemic. The team was able to successfully close the position within the deadline by careful team management and correct team role allocation. I assisted my manager by working overtime to ensure I was able to post any adjustment journals to meet the deadline.-Merger Migration task (involves 7 CCG becoming 1 Sustainable Transformation Programme (STP)). My duty was to do an AOB task (‘Age Debtor’s Cleanse’). To get rid of any balances before the merge. Conducted by checking the PY accrual and netting off any left-over accrual or showing the outstanding balance as a cost pressure. As a result, this demonstrated my effective analytical skills, as able to identify a cost pressure before it arises.-Participated alongside two other trainees with Intercompany mismatches. This task was issued to reduce the number of transactions between each CCG. Each took the role of looking after one borough. Consequently, able to get the task completed without any duplications occurring.-Helped senior directors and manger in budget holder meetings. Providing attention to detail on a transactional level which ties in to service reviews and identifying potential saving within our budgets.-High level expenditure and income reconciliation on trial balance daily report. This was done by analysing complex data and working closely with my finance colleagues by reducing aged debts by setting out weekly goals and identifying potential write-off.-Took the lead on a reconciliation extraction task, regarding prior year analysis on annual leave, 18/19 and 17/18 accrual funds which I later presented to the Head of Finances and Finance Director. I received praise from the Head of Director for presenting my finding well.
