I graduated from Reykjavik University in 2017 with a B.Sc. in Engineering Management. For the next two years, I focused on gaining valuable work experience at the National Power Company of Iceland. There I worked in cost control where I oversaw the cost of the construction of Búrfell II Power Plant. During the project, I was located on the construction side where I got the opportunity to work with many different people. During my time there I developed communication, organizing, and problem-solving skills. I had to be very determined, resourceful and organized to be able to receive the data I needed to be able to finish my tasks. In 2019 I enrolled at the Chalmers University of Technology where I studied Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Quality and Operations Management. My master thesis was about Reducing Product Development Lead Time with an Agile way of working in collaboration with Husqvarna Construction Products. I graduated in 2021 and started working as a Quality Engineer at Marel Iceland.
