As the SEO Manager at onX Maps, I lead our SEO department and drive our digital marketing efforts to increase organic growth and online visibility for our four apps. My responsibilities include developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy for our main website as well as the four subfolders for each vertical, which is like it's own business with a different marketing strategy and audience all together. I manage the SEO team and collaborate with content, marketing, and engineering teams to integrate SEO best practices across the company. I monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.In addition to strategy, I create and optimize high-quality, engaging content that aligns with our brand. I ensure all content is optimized for search engines and supports our marketing goals. Programmatic pages and programmatic content strategy has become a focus of ours in the past year, which has kept me on my toes. Technical SEO is a key focus for a large site with four sub folders to manage, including regular website audits, implementing technical improvements, and optimizing site architecture and URL structure for search engines and user experience.I track and analyze SEO performance using various tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports on key metrics. This data-driven approach helps refine and adjust our strategy for better results.My role at onX allows me to combine my expertise in SEO with my passion for the outdoors, making a positive impact on the outdoor recreation community.
