CurrentAs a Junior DevSecOps Engineer at Entersekt, I manage our 3D Secure (3DS) Access Control Server (ACS) solution, which handle over 2.5 billion transactions annually for 250 million cardholders across 70 countries, 450,000 merchants, and 850 Issuing banks. Our 3D Secure solution (ACS, DS and 3DS Server) is written in Java, Spring Boot/Hibernate. My team manage both on-premise (Oslo and Tallinn hosted) and cloud (AWS EKS-hosted) infrastructure. Our preferred operating system is FreeBSD®, using MariaDB as our database engine with heavy use of ZFS and FreeBSD jails.Key Responsibilities:• Ensure the ACS scales to handle large volumes of traffic while maintaining uptime and performance.• Implement robust yet resilience cloud computing solutions (mainly AWS, some Azure).• Leverage Infrastructure As Code with Terraform/Terragrunt, ArgoCD, and Puppet.• Develop and implement QA automation scripts using Python/Selenium for error detection.• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, Atlantis).• Leverage IaaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, ArgoCD, and Puppet.• Orchestrate and scale applications using Kubernetes (EKS), managing deployments and rollbacks via Helm charts.• Managing security with firewalls (Opnsense) and providing DDoS protection (Cloudflare and AWS Shield Advanced).• Monitor system performance (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) and debug issues using logs (OpenSearch, Greylog).• Collaborate with developers, key account managers and external stakeholders to identify and resolve bugs.• Ensure strict compliance with PCI DSS guidelines and security efforts to pass annual audits. My focus is on ensuring our ACS solution is secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards while keeping system performance optimized.
