I'm a former mechanical engineer who along the way helped develop an invisibility cloak at a startup, analyzed weapons technology at the CIA, helped build the Bay Area's most successful tech recruiting firm, and served as an operating partner at Kleiner Perkins. Now I'm fortunate enough to be an investing partner at Coatue, where I get to work with imaginative entrepreneurs and invest my time, capital, and network to help build their ambitious companies. Outside of work, I serve on the board of directors for the San Francisco SPCA (https://www.sfspca.org/). Adopt, don't shop!I'm also a mechanical engineer and plasma physicist by training and you can usually find me in my garage fixing something for my wife.
