As a Commercial Credit Associate, I was responsible for reviewing and underwriting new loan requests and renewals of existing credit facilities. I worked as a member of the Washington Commercial Middle Market lending team providing credit facilities to companies with annual revenues in excess of $10MM. As an Associate, I had decision authority for new and existing clients with up to $1MM in exposure. Additionally, I partnered with our respective sales team to complete credit packages in alignment with our customer needs and expectations.

Starting off as a Commercial Credit Analyst I began with a 10 week intensive analyst training program in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon completion I worked as a part of the Commercial Agricultural team as well as the Washington Commercial Middle Market team. I provided portfolio monitoring support and assisted underwriters in the preparation of credit approval documentation. In my second year, I underwrote new credit requests and renewals of existing credit facilities in addition to monitoring the existing portfolios.
