I provide program management and collection of all health equity activities being performed to deliver requirements, meet business needs and strategic objectives. Otherwise known as making sure our Participants receive the best care possible when addressing their health needs! My focus is within the Medicaid service population; working to identify, address and create processes to decrease inequities as we all deserve access, support and the opportunity to be our healthiest. How can we make programmatic impacts in our services to ensure participants receive better, more adequate health care?!? This work includes:*Supporting business department initiatives that promote, quality, safety and cost of care opportunity.*Providing program management over and collection of all health equity activities being performed at the plan. *Creating and monitoring all department deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards including clinical reporting documents, related reference materials, and policy and procedure documentation. *Identifying resources, resolving issues, and mitigating risks to improve existing processes.

I drive increases in philanthropic initiatives by growing membership connections and building and engaging with an extensive network of charitable change-agents. I share knowledge and resources of proven capacity building strategies to an average of 50 nonprofits a month. I deploy approximately $2 million in Appalachian Regional Commission federal grant funds to the region through expertise in providing non-profits with the resources available to obtain access to matching capital, supportive services, and product needs necessary in obtaining grants. I successfully maintain a current annual membership of 65 and a total engagement of 1,500.Key Accomplishments► Increased fundraising dollars by 19% over 2018 for a total of $78,500 raised.► Succeeded in rebuilding the membership community through online outreach, streamlining the application process, and creating ease of access for applicants resulting in increase of membership income by 44% FY2019 and 33% FY2020, with three months left in the fiscal year. ► Increased employee participation in fundraising events such as donor drives and dress-up days by 171% through collaboration with the organization's employee engagement committee to actively communicate and spark employee interests. ► Utilizes a variety of tax incentive programs, benefit projects, and revitalization efforts to develop innovative initiatives for municipalities and nonprofits in pursuing community improvement projects. ► Strong knowledge and practice in facilitating community and economic development programs such as New Market Tax Credit, Low-Income Housing, Safety-Net programs and other programs designed to create healthy, robust communities.► Implemented the organization’s first internship program in NCAC; later adopted and rolled out to the Parent Organization, NEPA Alliance.

In this highly visible role, I led a team of up to 18 direct reports and effectively utilized a $438,500 budget to manage daily operations and actively develop programs, secure human resources, solicit grants, design social and direct marketing, and plan events. I ensured proper building maintenance and repair of the 19,000 square foot building located on one acre. I successfully built a stronger sense of community and created more substantial connections that highlighted the center and provided members with a renewed sense of engagement as demonstrated by an increased facility usage of 19%. Key Accomplishments► Increased yearly programs by 13%, from 120 to 135 and added 15 new community groups to provide community services inside the center, such as Columbia County Traveling Library, PA CareerLink, and After-School Programs. ► Increased social media presence; Facebook page realized a 37% increase in page likes; post reach, on average, increased from 11 to 141, a 1,182% increase. ► Implemented multiple projects to streamline operations and increase efficiency, including a new membership tracking and a donation simplification tool, while cultivating a sustainable system of revenue for the center.

Northeast Pa (Carbon, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Wayne & Wyoming)

I systematically established and grew a network of agencies and key community stakeholders to advance affordable housing initiatives in seven northeastern Pennsylvania counties through expert community organizing skills. I coordinated with governmental agencies, nursing homes, social services employees, and providers of income-based housing to positively increase community awareness of available services and demonstrated opportunities to get involved. Key Accomplishments► Successfully created a robust clearinghouse of services for agencies servicing older adults and those with disabilities to improve access to housing and supportive services programs.► Developed several housing coalitions and established and grew a database of 250 active housing contacts available to those in need.
