The Director of Health Education & Outreach is responsible for the management, oversight, and implementation of all programs and grants related to HIV-related services inclusive of HIV testing and Linkage to Care in addition to PrEP and Ending the Epidemic (ETE) HIV prevention services for LGBTQIA+ people. This role also includes providing supervision to staff funded through the YMSM, Transgender CoC, and Trans Youth initiative.• Hire, train, manage, supervise, and evaluate paid and/or volunteer staff and interns• Plan, implement, and evaluate theory-based and evidence-informed health promotion strategies, policies, programs and services• Develop strategic plans, goals, and measurable objectives for health promotion programs and services• Evaluates staff reports and data; tracks progress accomplishing work plan goals; identifies barriers where goals are not being met and communicates them to Executive Director• Develops and presents program/data reports and topics concerning LGBTQIA+ sexual health programming• Works with the Association Events staff and the Executive Director to organize the Annual Trans Wellness Conference• Enters data timely and accurately to promote patient care delivery and participates in ongoing QI/QA activities and training to improve patient experience and increase data quality where needed
