Genomic Data Analyst (Single-Cell)
Current- Improve and maintain custom single-cell pipelines utilizing Nextflow to enhance efficiency through automated workflows and implementing timely bug fixes - Improve and maintain interactive investigator dashboards with intuitive navigation for data and graphical representation using JavaScript and HTML to facilitate easier access to key findings and quality control for researchers - Collaborate with researchers who are developing novel assays to implement tailored data processing and analysis workflows- Conduct quality control and end-to-end analysis of large-scale single-cell data sets utilizing R and Monocle3 to ensure accurate data interpretation and actionable insights - Provide hands-on coding support to genomics core users for data analysis and recommend best-practice bioinformatic tools and strategies tailored to specific projects goals - Organize and facilitate Seattle Area Single Cell user group sessions, developed comprehensive workshop materials, and provide hands-on coding support to users during workshops- Generate figures and written sections describing methods and results for manuscripts, presentations, and grant applications to effectively communicate complex bioinformatic concepts to diverse audiences
