As a Corporate Affairs Officer I optimally execute the following duties:• Ensure company’s compliance with regulatory requirements• Work on tariff and promo filing documents, and get approval from regulator• Obtain and protect licences, permits and approval• Collate data and write regulatory reports• Represent the company at industry based national and international meetings, as well as regulatory meetings and provide recommendations to management through my team head• Build, maintain and leverage on relationships with all relevant stakeholders• Support other departments such as Marketing, legal, customer experience, IT, facilities and admin• Host company's regional events • Gather and grasp complex technical information, simplify and communicate to relevant department for execution, in fulfilment of regulatory requirements• Attend meetings with the MD• Prevent disruption of business activities by community or government bodies• Book keeping• Ensure that ‘Demand Notices'' and bills served to the company are in line with the stipulations of the law• Negotiate Demand Notices and bills• Collate issue specific information and write correspondences• Business Analysis and strategy execution• Project and uphold the interest of the company at official meetings• Explore and ensure financial savings for the company• Fast track applications and regulatory resolutions with Regulatory and Government Bodies• Review policies, laws, regulations and directives issued by government at different levels and the regulator, ensure they do not negatively impact on business operations• Professional management of and engagement with Company’s Stakeholders such as NCC, NIMC, BPE, FCCPC, NITDA, NESREA, ITF, CBN, PENCOM, AEPB, AMAC, Ministry of Communication & Digital Economy, Ministry of Works & Housing, The National Assembly, other Telecom Companies e.t.c
