Operations Manager - Critical Infrastructure
CurrentThe Project Operations Manager is responsible for leadership and development of project operation associates in a specific territory. Lead strategy, development, resourcing, implementation and continuous process improvement for the team. Responsible for enforcing standards and processes that increase the quality, velocity, and efficiency for our project teams. Collaborating with the PMO and engineering team, ensuring project operations are aligned with the needs of our clients and the needs of the business unit. Work closely with leadership to ensure efficient projects that delight our customers and meet business objectives.• Work with Business Unit Leaders and Peers to ensure cohesive operations, working together toward common results and goals. Areas of focus include but are not limited to: - Processes and Standards - Governance - Reporting - Efficient Project Processes from Initiation to Completion• Developing and enhancing standards and processes in collaboration with the PMO, engineering, and business units, guaranteeing client satisfaction and profitable projects. • Collaboration with training leadership to ensure career pathing and associated training opportunities are available. Help define and administer training programs for new hires and staff resources. • Set standards for project operations in resource planning and standardization through appropriate tools; hold leaders accountable for strict adherence. Short term and long-term initiatives. • Ability to utilize operations metrics to ensure strategy is in alignment and course correct quickly when there are gaps. Maintain Territory and Business unit KPI’s. • Work closely with the project management team working on the new ERP to develop and deploy internal project management tools.
