About Andrej Tomić
I am a software developer with primary focus on UI devleopment. I've developed/helped develop 10+ native/web apps, with varying degree of success in the real world. All of the apps utilize various tech stacks built around JS.I am confident in anything that pertains to Frontend Development, regardless of the stack, but React/React Native are my bread and butter, so I'm primarily looking for jobs that involve that, as I like to spend as much time as possible within that ecosystem, both because it breeds familiarity (not many stones left unturned) and presents exploration opportunities (to potentially turn some new unturned stones). That being said, I don't really care so much what the stack is, as much as what is the problem/domain at hand. I've worked on Vue and Angular projects and the overlap (of potential problems/things to do) is usually so high that it really doesn't matter in the end.If I could highlight one thing from my career, that would be working as a Senior Frontend Developer at Helu.io, where I was involved in creating innovative digital solutions for fintech companies and CFOs, using Vue.js. I have greatly contributed to the development (both as a FE dev and as a PM) of the initial version of the product that raised 10 million series A round, and helped recruit and onboard about 10+ team members. Besides software development, I am also a Certified Court Translator for the English Language at Briksi Agency Banja Luka, where I provide accurate and professional translation of documents from BHS to English and vice versa. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a diverse background in teaching, counseling, and clerical work, which have helped me acquire valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.
