Did structural design of Saudi Aramco projects.

Managing the portfolio of Council's assets from their life cycle perspective. I was responsible for scoping tender documents that included structural condition assessment of bridges, buildings, culverts and all other amenities that cater to Gladstone region's community. Key responsibilities included working closely with Engineering Design department for resolution of various issues, technical clarification to queries from contractors, working closely with Manager, Asset Performance and Monitoring on updating asset register and identifying potential areas of maintenance and capital expenditure.

• Interpreting Geo-technical soil investigation reports for various soil parameters like shear strength, bearing capacity, coefficient of active and passive earth pressure, compressibility etc. Utilizing these data in stability analysis for reinforced concrete foundations of various structures.• Preparing Front End Engineering Design & drawings for various facilities. Preparing Material Take Off from these documents for budgetary estimates (Rough order of magnitude).• Liaising between Engineering and Construction teams for release of drawings according to feasibility of execution at site.• Supervising generation of Civil/Structural/Architectural drawings, reviewing and approving these drawings for construction at site. Preparation of Civil/Structural Design basis, quality plans, project specifications catering to specific requirements at site. Interpretation of IS codes/Company standards to deliver best in class and optimized design deliverable.• Monitoring construction methods at site and controlling materials being used by adding notes in engineering drawings, instruction execution team to adhere to specific materials suitable for site specific conditions and stringent construction practices, thus upholding quality assurance aspects of Company.• Condition assessment of various structural facilities for expansion projects. Residual life analysis of structures for assessing suitability to integrate with new load transfer mechanism.• Analysing whole life cost analysis to prepare maintenance/replacement plans for existing assets. • Recording changes to design formally, quantifying these changes in terms of schedule and cost impacts. Apprising team leader/ Management of these changes with trade‐off analysis, determining whether to accept or reject the change.
