For nearly eight months, I dedicated myself to refining my design skills under the guidance of experienced professionals in preparation for the 2019 WorldSkills Competition in Kazan, Russia. I am thankful for the generous support of the C.V. Akerlund Media Foundation, as it enabled me to take part in this prestigious event. During my studies at the University of Applied Sciences, I worked part-time as a Croupier at Veikkaus. I was responsible for managing Blackjack and Red Dog poker tables. This job provided me with a great source of income as a student, and it also enabled me to develop the ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.

I served in the Defence Command Public Information Division as a Graphic Designer. My responsibilities included creating a range of images and graphics for the Finnish Defence Forces' online, internal and social media services. My primary tasks were to produce and maintain infographic presentations for the Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, as well as designing graphics such as brochures, posters, banners and ad campaigns for the Finnish Defence Forces.
