Atul is a Human Resource professional with a wealth of 3 decades plus of experience. Having started his career as an engineer, he took on a full time HR role given his zeal for people issues. As a HR incubator and leader, Atul has been at the forefront of new interventions in the HR field and fraternity. A leader with a good blend of Business and HR experience spread over 32 years, Atul’s vast experience is a good combination of Strategic Thinking and Result Delivery through Execution Excellence.Having graduated in BE (Mech) from Pune University in 1988 and completed his MMS (Operations) from Mumbai University in 1991, Atul started his career with the erstwhile Goodlass Nerolac Paints. He worked for close to two years at the company’s Ahmedabad factory heading the stores & production planningdepartment, prior to joining Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) in 1993.During his 20+ years’ career in Human Resources, Atul has led HR function for diverse businesses within the Mahindra group in Automobiles, Trucks & Buses, Tractors, DG Sets, Construction equipment and Agri business. During this journey, he has handled Strategic & Transformational HR projects, Organization Design, Change Management, Talent Management, OD, Capability Building, Employee Engagement, HR Shared Services and PMS. His last stint was as the Chief of HR and Admin for Mahindra Financial Services for three years, wherein he was also the head of CSR and Sustainability. He was a Member of the Steering Committee of the Financial Service Sector of the Mahindra group.After working for more than 30 years with the Mahindra group in various capacities and acquiring a rich experience of leading the HR function in an automobile / engineering and financial Services industry for nearly 21 years, in June 23, Atul wrapped up his full-time career to start as a Coach, Facilitator and HR Consultant as a freelancer.Atul is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach Federation. He has a certification in MBTI, Hogan assessment, OPQ and Thomas Personal Profile analysis and is also trained in Harrison. He loves coaching people and enable them grow. He has been coaching young professionals and mid-management level leaders for the last 8 years.
