I was responsible for process development in the lithography module. I had a variety of responsibilities based around both equipment improvements and development of techniques to print specific patterns necessary to meet design specifications. I also designed experiments in concert with other modules to design experiments to troubleshoot specific defect modes, and helped to work out how the lithography module could contribute to solutions.

I am a spectroscopist studying metalloenzymes, mainly Nitrogenase and Acetyl CoA Synthase using infrared, electron paramagnetic resonance, and X-ray absorption spectroscopy. I focus on the structure of their metal centers, how a variety of substrates are bound, and what chemistry is performed on them by the enzymes.

I did deposition monitoring using quartz crystal microbalances.

I worked with cryogenic molecular deposition monitoring of space materials. In the vacuum of space, a lot of materials outgas, that is, they give off particles that can collect on optics and equipment. I programmed and operated a machine to monitor those outgassed elements using quartz crystal microbalances.
