When I was a college student, I wasn't aware of what kind of job I would land. However, an opportunity knocked, and I was given the chance to be part of Cormant Technologies as an intern, which opened the door that led me to become a Software Quality Assurance professional. During my time there, I learned the importance of team collaboration, manual test execution, creating test cases, and using tools for software testing.After graduation, thanks to that company, I was fortunate to land a job at Kinpo Electronics Inc. as a software QA engineer for mobile and web applications. During my time there, it broadened my knowledge on testing and continued to help contribute to the success of every deliverable.Fast forward to the present, I am currently a part of Norima Technologies Inc., still as a QA, which I know is making a great impact on my career. My responsibility is to test a system to deliver a successful product. I am able to use different tools like Postman, Jira, and many more. Additionally, I put software methodologies into good use and collaborate with clients. So far, I have been able to grow and learn more skills, not only in testing but also in being part of a diverse team with different races, which helps me build my confidence to engage and communicate with customers/clients.Although being a QA means being busy and immersed, I still don’t forget to enjoy life and take some time to breathe.
