As the EVP of Marketing for a 1.2B Community Bank, I was responsible for the marketing, advertising and communications (both internal and external) for all 16 bank branches. In order to achieve success in this position, I guided a team of marketers to create campaigns that were growth driven and measurable. We used tactics such as OTT, digital marketing, social media marketing, SEO, SEM and some traditional media to differentiate our brand from others. I worked with other executives to create a vision for the future growth of the bank. I conducted countless hours of research on consumer behavior and trends in order to create plans that continued to provide growth for the company and that attracted the next generation of bank customers. I was responsible for the bank's brand and reputation. I monitored the bank's name in the media, created press releases, communicated with employees and shareholders, and tried to stay in tune with the consumer perception of our Bank and our brand.

As the Marketing Director, I was directly responsible for managing the Marketing Department at the Vinton County National Bank. While my job duties included day-to-day marketing and management functions such as managing others, advertising, public relations and community outreach, my main objective was to be a forward thinker. I consistently attempted to forecast the future of banking as it related to my bank and our competitive landscape. My job was to position the bank so that it could grow, be profitable and stay ahead of our competitors. As a Marketing Manager I was responsible for implementing all levels of marketing, advertising and PR as it pertained to the bank's West Region. The West Region included 7 of the 14 branch locations. My job duties included but were not limited to graphic design, marketing planning and strategies, budgeting, community outreach and media buying.

As a Retail Banker I worked one-on-one with customers to serve their financial needs. I was a consumer lender with expertise in the areas of installment loans and home equity loans. I managed deposit accounts including Certificates of Deposit, Checking and Savings accounts as well as made health insurance, mortgage and investment referrals.

As a Commercial Truck Account Specialist, I was responsible for outside sales and the growth of the Rental Truck division. I prospected new business, called upon new business and set up accounts for trucking clients. I made presentations to decision makers within large companies that utilized commercial trucks. In addition, I managed day-to-day operations within the branch office and oversaw large corporate accounts. I was able to troubleshoot with customers as it related to trucking issues and I worked diligently to keep a high customer satisfaction score.
